The Monopoly game at McDonalds is returning for the 22nd time at McDonalds resturants in the USA. Like previous editions of the game, the odds of winning a prize are one in four (with almost all of the prizes are coupons for free food). The game takes place between September 30 and October 27. The game also has an online component at www.PlayAtMcD.com.
The prizes this year are a little different in previous years. Here is the breakdown for the major prizes:
Collect Utilities (Water Works and Electric Company):
Prize: $10,000 (4 Available)
Collect Brown Pieces (Baltic and Mediterranean Avenues):
Prize: $50 (1000 Available)
Collect Light Blue Pieces (Connecticut, Vermont & Oriental Avenues):
Prize: Shell Fuel for a Year (4 Available)
Collect Purple Pieces (St. Charles PLaces, States and Virginia Avenues):
Prize: $5,000 (5 Available)
Collect Orange Pieces (St. James Places, Tennessee and New York Avenues):
Prize: Softcare Mobile Wallet $2500 Prize and a Smartphone (238 Available)
Collect Red Pieces (Kentucky, Illinois, and Indiana Avenues):
Prize: Delta Dream Trip vacation to one of 250 destinations (20 Available)
Collect Yellow Pieces (Marvin Gardens, Ventnor and Atlantic Avenues):
Prize: Beaches Resort Luxory Caribbean Vacation (75 Available)
Collect Green Pieces (Pennsylvania, North Carolina, and Pacific Avenues):
Prize: Cessna Private Jet Trip (2 Available)
Collect Dark Blue Pieces (Park Place and Boardwalk Avenues):
Prize: $1,000,000 (1 Available)
Of course, there are quite a few different prizes that are “Instant Win” meaning you don’t have to collect pieces, including electronics, gift cards, celebrity meet and greets, super bowl tickets, and other cash and prizes.
Not all McDonalds food has game pieces. Game pieces can be found on the following items:
- Premium McWrap
- Big Mac
- Bacon Clubhouse Sandwiches
- Filet-O=Fish
- 10 and 20 Piece Chicken McNuggets
- Medium and Large McCafe Beverages
- Fruit & Maple Oatmeal
- Hash Browns
- Egg White Delight McMuffin
- Egg McMuffin
- Sausage McMuffin with Egg
- Large Fries
- Medium Fountain Drinks
All of these items will give you two game pieces each, except for the large fries, which comes with 4 game pieces. Good luck!
