The Burger King Chicken Fries is not a new menu item. It has come and gone a few times, but has recently been added as a permanent addition to the Burger King menu. I was in Burger King last week and wanted to see if these were any good.
I bought a regular order of Chicken Fries, which is 9 pieces. I paid $3.49.
The Chicken Fries is basically a chicken nugget that has been shaped into a thin “fry” shape, breaded, and seasoned. Included is your choice of the regular Burger King dipping sauces, including BBQ, honey mustard, ranch, zesty, buffalo and sweet and sour.
Most of the flavor actually comes from the spices on the breading. The flavor is nice, with a slight spiciness. There isn’t much chicken in each “fry.” Due to the elongated shape. However, the little amount of chicken tastes juicy, similar to a chicken nugget.
Unfortunately, I did feel the price point was way too high for what were getting. I expected more pieces for $3.49. A regular medium fries is only about $2, and there wasn’t anything particularly special here to justify the price (even compared to the chicken nuggets).

I would have given the Burger King Chicken Fries a 3, as the taste is nice (to the point where there is enough flavor to hold their own without the need of dipping sauces). However, the price drops it down to a 2, being way out of my price range for what you get.
